What a great time in the Word tonight! The Day of Christ is the next great event in history of the world. It could be any time, so it is our responsibility to be always looking for the soon return of Christ. It is at hand!
2Th 2:1-2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
We must remember that the terminology of the Word of God reveals the doctrine to us. The day of Christ is not the day of the Lord. The day of Christ is the rapture of the Church. The day of the Lord is the physical return of Christ to rule and reign for a 1,000 years, with a rod of iron. Understanding these two truths opens the Word to us in an incredible way.
