Revelation 2 Thyatira 3

We finally have been able to say goodbye to the church at Thyatira, and that woman, Jezebel.  It has been an exhaustive study of Jezebel and the doctrine of Balaam, and how Israel, from the beginning sought to rebel against God and worship Baal, and all the derivative deities that are associated.  It was quite enlightening to see how Solomon condemned the nation to being destroyed because of his immorality and idolatry in 1 Kings 11:1-6.

The application of the lesson of the doctrine Balaam to us today is blatantly obvious, when we look at what we hold dear, what is important to us, and how our money issues can make us make decisions that are not in our best interest spiritually.

This coming week we will begin to look at Sardis, the church that had a testimony of being alive, but in reality, was dead.  Any church that seeks to do the work of God without the power of the Holy Spirit upon it, will only produce dead works!
