We started digging into the scriptures this past Sunday, comparing scripture with scripture, to get a clear understanding of the throne of God, the creatures, and the 24 elders. Getting a strong foothold concerning heaven, and those things that are supernatural is comforting and encouraging concerning our complete trust in the Word of God. It is always wonderful to experience the discovery of new understanding!
As we looked at Isaiah 6, Ezekiel 1, and Revelation 4, we compared what each man saw concerning heaven and God’s throne. The four beasts all had the same faces, wings, etc. One creature face had a different description than the others — Isaiah saw an ox, Ezekiel saw a cherub, and John saw a calf. If you use common deduction, you come to the conclusion that a cherub is the face of a sweet, cute, innocent calf.
This week we will continue our walk through the events of heaven in preparation for the seals to be opened. Please keep refreshed in your study by reading Revelation 4 & 5 this week.
