This past Sunday was definitely a turning point in the tribulation! The rider on the white horse, who conquers through peace, sets up the abomination of desolation (Matt 24:15), the nation of Israel “sees” that he is not the promised messiah, and flees to the wilderness. The man of sin is revealed (2 Thess 2:3-8), and he wages war (Seal 2) on the Jews, especially the 144,000 preachers who are sealed by God, and sent to preach the gospel of the kingdom of heaven (Matt 24:14). He wants to destroy them, and everyone who seeks to protect the Jews in any way. Jesus calls this time the “great tribulation” — the last half of Daniel’s 70th week. 3 1/2 years of incredible trial & struggle for humanity. Israel flees to the wilderness, as Jesus compels them to, in Matt 24:16-21, to be cared for by God (Rev 12:6, 14-17) for the 3 1/2 years, till the coming of Messiah Jesus at the 2nd advent.
Revelation 6F Seals 3 & 4
Seal 3 is famine. Famine is a natural by-product of war. Hyper inflation hits the world’s food supplies. It will cost a day’s wage for a measure of wheat – a loaf of bread. People all over the world will starve, and death naturally follows — Seal 4. This is how the antichrist will be able to institute the mark of the beast (Rev 13:15-18), so that no one will be able to buy or sell anything unless they have the mark.
