I trust the attached chart will encourage you in your daily battle between your old man – your former self that continually seeks to enslave you to the appetites of this world, and who you are in Christ – the new creation indwelled by the Holy Spirit – 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Remember, being in Christ does not remove you from the proclivity to sin! Our old man / old nature is sold under sin. Only through obedience to Christ do we have the strength to overcome and live a victorious Christian life!
2 Corinthians 10:3-6, Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 4:17-32, Colossians 3:1-17 all give the battle plan to fight our old nature and claim the victory that is in Christ alone!
