My Dear CBC Family,

Curtis brought some great truths to light in our study of Colossians 3:14-17 this past Sunday! The main things that spoke to me were:
Put on charity (unconditional love).
Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.
All three of these are an act of the will that our souls must decide to do in order to walk in fellowship with our Lord and Savior!

This coming Sunday Curtis will be wrapping up his teaching in Colossians 3 dealing with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. The first Sunday of August we will begin our adventure in the Jewish epistles, starting with Hebrews. We will seek to study each book using the three applications of Bible study described at the bottom of this letter. I am excited about Bible study every week, learning from Curtis’s teaching, as well as preparing for what we will be studying. We have an awesome Bible study every Sunday morning!
