Today, we took a brief look into the scriptures that list all the nations of giants that were entrenched in the “promised land” / land of Canaan, when Abraham lived there on into the struggles of the nation of Israel coming into the land after leaving Egypt and the 40 years of wandering. These are the “and also after that” giants spoken of in Genesis 6:4. The above picture lists all the names of the nations of giants and accompanying scriptures. It is an interesting study to see all these nations squeezed in such a small strip of land.
The whole goal of Satan was to pollute the land before Israel could get settled in, and disrupt the plan of God for his people and the line of the Messiah. If he could succeed at polluting the nation and the blood, there would be no kingdom, and no King. Joshua and Israel conquered the land and cleared out most of the giants, as scripture reveals on the picture of the board. Take some time this week and go over the scriptures concerning these giants. It is an interesting read.
