We began looking into the role of demons / devils in Satan’s economy, and how Jesus dealt with them. We will continue our discussion next week. The attached picture has scriptures that we will discuss next Sunday. Please take time to acquaint yourself to these scriptures by reading them this week.
We took a brief look into Matthew 24:36-41 and the second advent of Christ, when he returns to rule and reign with a rod of iron. Jesus said it will be as the days of Noah. This is a direct connection to the sons of God issue. A brief chronology of events:
1. The rapture / snatching away of the Church Age saints to the Bema judgment. Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:6-10
1 Corinthians 3:11-15; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-2; 1 John 3:1-3; Revelation 4:1
2. The Tribulation and reign of the antichrist in this world. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12; Revelation 6-18
3.The 2nd Advent of Christ – the physical return of Christ to establish his everlasting kingdom. Revelation 19-22
