RDTW week 223 A Rapid Look at Revelation Part Three

Week Three of our study of the Revelation outline is complete. We have one more week until our Christmas break. December 14 will be our last Bible study until January 11, 2026.

We made it through the second and third accounts of the tribulation covering Revelation 8-14. This covers the Trumpet judgments and the introduction of many vital players in the tribulation.

In chapter 7, the 144,000 true Jehovah's witnesses are sealed. Chapter 14:1-5 describes them as young virgin men who went out and preached the gospel of the kingdom (Matthew 24:14). Later in chapter 7, the harvest of their mission work is revealed in heaven described as Gentiles from all over the world are now in heaven having been called to the great wedding feast described in Matthew 22:1-10.

Chapters 8-14 are explained in the outline that is available on our website rdtw.org. We discussed the two witnesses and their ministry, as well as the woman (Israel) and her flight to the wilderness for the great tribulation, the second half of Daniel's 70th week. The person of the beast / the Antichrist and his false prophet are explained and the demise of all who follow him taking the mark. Revelation 13:8, Revelation 14:9-11, Revelation 17:8, and 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 all paint a painful picture of those who follow the beast. Revelation 7:9-14 describes the eternal bliss of those who wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb!

This coming Sunday will be our final Bible study of Revelation discussing the Babylon Mystery Religion and its demise, the millennial kingdom, the Great White Throne judgment, and eternity future which is the third section of the prophecy Jesus told John to write.

Revelation 1:19: Write the things which thou hast seen (chapters 2-3), and the things which are (chapters 4-19), and the things which shall be hereafter (chapters 20-22);
