It was a good beginning this past Sunday, looking into the church of the Laodiceans. The study of this church is so close to home, with our culture, and the world conditions that we see everyday. It is so convicting to examine where I am and who I am in Christ, and to know how far I have to go to reach that level of maturity that God wants me to be at.
The Philadelphian church is what God wants all of us to aspire to, and Laodicea is the polar opposite. We will dig in this week and look at their true spiritual condition and what the Lord prescribes to get them back on the right track, concerning God’s plan for them as a church. God always wants us to examine ourselves everyday, keep short sin accounts, and focus on accomplishing His will for our lives.
