It was truly an exciting Wednesday, as we ran through the trumpet judgments. As the Seal Judgments paint the broad stroke of the entire tribulation, the Trumpet Judgments give us the greater details of the 2nd half of the tribulation. We saw that the trumpets ended at the same place as the 6th seal.
Rev 6:14 – 17 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
We see that both groups of judgments end with the 2nd advent! The book of Revelation takes us through the tribulation 4 separate times, with each time ending at the resurrection of the tribulation saints and the Lord Jesus Christ returning to take his rightful throne as Messiah King of this world to rule with a rod of iron.
Please read ch, 12-16 this week as we close out our overview of the end times. Please remember to pray each day, asking God to reveal His simple truth through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
