RDTW 115 A Biblical Answer to Pride Month

Romans 3:4...let God be true, but every man a liar...
Job 41:34: (speaking of Leviathan, the Dragon of Revelation 12 / Satan) ...he is a king over all the children of pride.
This first Sunday of June, as we are being bombarded from all sides concerning LGBTQ+++ Pride Month, I felt compelled to walk through one circumstance in our Bible that clearly reveals how sexual immorality, and homosexuality in particular is a devastating cancer in any culture, because it attacks God's order of creation. The devil is all about destroying what God has created, and destroying all of humankind that falls prey to his wicked schemes. The devil is a trickster, a liar, a thief, a murderer, and a destroyer of all that is good and right and uplifting.
We all know the story of Lot and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. In Genesis 18, the LORD visits with Abraham before sending his two angels to retrieve Lot and his family from such an incredibly debaucherous city. In Genesis 19, the two angels enter Sodom and are quickly taken into Lot's home. The men of the city surround Lot's home and demand he turn the two angels over to be gang raped. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft! These rebels even rejected Lot's offer of his two virgin daughters to appease their sexual appetites. They refused and tried to take the angels by force. They were stricken with blindness, and we know the cities were destroyed by fire and brimstone.
The issue we are dealing with today is no different. Pride Month is all about shoving this rebellious, deviant lifestyle in everyone's face. It has nothing to do with everyone living peaceable lives. The LGBTQ+++ agenda is to destroy anything that reflects God's original design for the family. Pride is the original sin of Lucifer that caused his downfall into his current position of Satan / the devil. Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 give us insight into Job 1 and Job 2, and the pride Satan exhibited toward God.
This is the exact of what we see in the Lord Jesus Christ, who humbled himself and became obedient unto the death of the cross. There are two scriptures in the New Testament that finish the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, and how we, being in this dispensation of the grace of God, can see how He is withholding his wrath, which He will surely pour out upon this rebellious world when we caught up at the rapture of the Church Age saints.
2 Peter 2:4-10: For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
Jude 6-8: And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
The one thing we can draw from these verses is God will judge this world for its wickedness. He will also deliver the godly out of this current world situation, just like Lot. “Strange flesh” is leaving what is natural and beautiful heterosexual love in the marriage bed and pursuing that which is unnatural. As Paul states so clearly in Romans 1:18-32. I have only pasted verses 24-32, but I encourage you to read it all!
Romans 1:24-32: Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
As you can see in these verses, because humanity rejects the grace and goodness of God, he gives them over to uncleanness, from which vile affections sprouts. When a culture is wholly given over to all manner of sexual sin, a callous, seared conscience is the result. God gives them over to a reprobate mind!~ But, all is not lost! The free gift of salvation buy grace through faith is available to all men.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Apart from the grace and mercy of God, we could all be subject to the sins listed above. Paul even stated that there were some in the church in Corinth who had a terrible sinful life in their past, and that they were miraculously saved out of that life. The blood of Christ and the grace of God is able to save anyone who will through themselves on His mercy at the throne of grace. This Pride Month is nothing to be proud about, as our culture flaunts it sinful condition in the face of God.
