RDTW 119 The Transdispensational Truth Principle

My Dear CBC Family & Friends,

Today, I shared an important Bible study principle – the Transdispensational Principle. All truth is not necessarily dispensational truth. Universal truth (ex: the holiness and sovereignty of God, the sinfulness of man, the overal plan of God for this world) transcends all dispensations. It is information that that is helpful for me, but is not dispensationally attached. All the Bible was written for our learning, but it is not all about us, or to us. Today's video recording goes into detail concerning this principle. Your can find it at kenwooten.com.

Romans 15:4: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Rightly dividing the Word is about comparing similar scriptures and contrasting dissimilar scriptures. When you study a passage in your Bible, find out where it fits dispensationally, and study the context from that position.

Two Examples:
Contrast: Matthew 6:14-15 with Ephesians 4:31-32 and Colossians 2:13-15
Compare: Titus 2:11-14 to 1 Peter 2:9-10

We will complete our study ot the four gospels dealing with the gospel of the kingdom of heaven next Sunday. We will begin to study the book of Titus after that.
