Leviticus 19:9-10 RDTW 85

Leviticus 19:9-10: And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

My Dear CBC Family & Friends,

We finally got to the third part of the first resurrection – the Gleanings Harvest of the tribulation saints. We took the first part of the class time discussing the engagement and marriage procedure from an ultra-orthodox Jewish perspective, and compared it to first century Judaism. It was quite an interesting walk through their culture and traditions. The Kiddushin is proposal and betrothal period, culminating in the Nisu'in, or the consummation of the marriage. I encourage you to go to our class website to watch the video. There is an incredible amount of information given.

Matthew 22:1-14 is the parable of the marriage. From this teaching, we understand that the Gleanings harvest is all about providing guests to the wedding. We were able to read the first record of tribulation saints who were given their wedding garments, as guests waiting to be called to the wedding, in Revelation 6:9-11.

Revelation 6:11: And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

We will continue the process of identifying the guests this coming Sunday. Please remember, I am merely showing the scriptures I believe to reveal those who are bidden to the wedding. As I stated this morning, I do not claim to be any kind of theologian. I merely compare scripture with scripture and find the similarities and connections that allow a proper possible conclusion. Remember – the gleanings = the guests. We shall continue our study in Revelation this coming Sunday.
